Torn between two programs!

So I posted a few days ago that I really want to be a Jayhawk! Well, I will always want to be a Jayhawk....LOL. But I'm torn between going to KU or MNU. MNU is where I got my BSN...and all my files are already there...transcripts...I already know the faculty...the campus...I love the people there...

MNU is supposed to have a graduate nursing program up and running by January...so I'm praying that it all falls into place so that I can go there! Maybe someday I'll make it to KU for my NP or Ph.D. Who knows?! The possibilities are endless...

BSN!

My family after I graduated MNU! Carl, Ashley, Josh, Me, Dad, and Mom!

Well aren't I a slacker? I never posted a blog saying that I graduated from MNU!!!

I graduated May 3rd with my Bachelors of Science in Nursing :)

Now my title is: Sarah Miller RN, BSN, CMSRN :)

Grad School...

Well I started filling out my application for Grad School today - wow...it's a lot of paperwork. Filled out my FAFSA online. Need to give people some forms to fill out about me, update my resume, and fill out a letter of intent. I'm super excited! If I get in I will start January 2010 for a Masters of Nursing in Organizational Leadership!

I can't WAIT to be a JAYHAWK!!!

I've always wanted to go to KU...the application isn't due until October...so I'm sure I won't hear back until November...maybe December. I will have to take a graduate level statistics class...either this fall or in January with my nursing classes.

Wish me luck!!!

Trying Times...

Josh hasn't found a job yet....but today FINALLY applied for unemployment. Thank God!!! I've only been trying to get him to do that for forever. He wanted to finish the year out at the bus barn!

In new news...I got my hair dyed back to my natural color last night and got my eyebrows waxed...really needed that!

I got a call this morning from KCKCC calling to schedule an interview for a job I applied for a month ago. Just assumed I woudn't hear anything from them. So Monday I will be in an interview. I'm very nervous - haven't had an interview in almost 5 years! The position is for a full time clinical instructor. Everyone thinks I'll be great at it...now I just have to give myself a little support :)

If I get the position I would still work weekend option at PMC. Don't want to give up my job there...but need something different to do during the week instead of picking up extra days all the time. I'm ready for a change :)

Well...I probably better get off here and get to my Management Council meeting at work!

Sorry it has been so long since I've written!
